20th Century Boys

At the end of the 20th century, a mysterious virus spread across the world, and all those infected died of blood. Endo Kenchi (played by Tomeaki Karasawa), who loves rock music, has experienced a rebellious period. Now he is in his thirties and runs a supermarket chain in his hometown of Osaka. The person in charge is scolded by his superiors, his mother is noisy, and his sister's child Kami is crying. Kenchi is careful to deal with it and is in a hurry. At the elementary school class reunion, Xianzhi reunited with his former friends Yoshitsune (played by Kagawa Teruyuki), Frog Zai (played by Hiroyuki Miyazaki), Maruo (played by Hidehiko Ishizuka), Fukuhira (played by Sasaki Kuranosuke), Amen (played by Takeji Ukaji) and others. From their mouths, they learned that a mysterious religious organization is currently popular in society. The leader of the organization calls himself a "friend" and that a series of recent horrific events all come from a "book of prophecy" that wise people made up in their childhood. Soon, his childhood friend Toki (Katsuhisa Ikase) committed suicide. A few days before his death, he sent a letter to Xianzhi, which mentioned the sign of the secret base. In order to find out the truth, Xianzhi and his friends dug out the iron box buried under the tree and found the "Book of Prophecy".
