A rigorous scientist’s life-long dream is to have China have a first-class deep-water port and build it into the core port of Asia. He is Chang Tianqi, the commander-in-chief and first responsible person of Yangshan Deep-water Port. To build a large Eastern Port, the scale and technical difficulty of the project are unique in the history of domestic port construction.
