Walking with Elephants

In 2020, a group of wild Asian elephants called the "Short-nosed Family" left their hometown of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, and embarked on a long journey north. They travel through human cities and reach the northernmost place in my country where Asian elephants have been recorded, challenging the limits of survival. Why did they run away? What is the ultimate fate of this population? Tencent's Sustainable Social Value Division (SSV) collaborated with the Interpretation China Studio of China Foreign Languages ​​Publishing and Distribution Bureau to jointly shoot the COP15 themed documentary "Walking with Elephants". Through never-before-published footage of the social behavior of rare wild Asian elephants, it deeply restored the causes and consequences of the "short-nosed family"'s migration north and south.
