The mother of the girl Gege was one of the 3,000 Shanghai orphans who were sent to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia to be raised by herdsmen in the 1960s. However, she later left the grasslands for some reason and lost contact with her adoptive parents. After her mother passed away, Gege was immersed in grief. Then the three of them met Bilige, a Mongolian boy who was a student at the school Sensen was going to. Stopping at Bilig's house for a while, she encountered a terrifying pack of wolves... After repelling the wolves and arriving at Bilig's school, Gege learned that her grandfather had passed away and there was no news about her grandmother for a long time. Just when the grassland fireworks festival arrived, the fireworks bombs could not go off due to moisture. Xiaofan came with new fireworks bombs, and also brought his stepfather who came because he was worried about Gege.
