Unbreakable

Zamperini (Jack O'Connell) is a long-distance runner who loves this sport and was fortunate enough to participate in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. In 1939, when the Second World War broke out, the ambitious Zamperini joined the army to serve his motherland and became an air force bombardier. During a mission, an accident caused the fighter jet Zamperini was flying to crash at sea. He and his comrades spent 47 arduous and long days on a small life raft. However, when they were rescued, the nightmare had just begun. Zamperini became a prisoner of the hostile country Japan, and met an officer named Mutsuhiro Watanabe (played by Takaya Ishihara) in the concentration camp. Here, Zamperini suffered inhuman torture and torture. Although he survived, this experience left indelible scars on his soul. The war was over, but Zamperini's nightmare was not.
