Chickens and ducks speak Cantonese

Hui Kee Roast Duck is a well-known delicacy on the streets of Hong Kong. Although the shop is shabby and the decoration is old, the excellent duck-roasting skills of the boss Xu (played by Xu Guanwen) still attract many diners to come and enjoy the meal. The business in the store is booming, but Lao Xu treats the employees below very harshly. The employees complained about the endless overtime and poor wages, but they were deceived by Mr. Xu's clever words and sex. But one day, Xu Ji's duck roasting disaster struck. A Western-style fried chicken restaurant opened in the shop opposite. The owner Danny (played by Wu Qihua) promoted his Western-style fast food with advanced concepts and quickly snatched away Lao Xu's customers. When the crisis comes, Lao Xu comes up with various ways to deal with it, and Danny also intends to put the duck restaurant to death... The film won the 1989 International Comedy Award for Best Actor in Las Vegas, USA.
