Death Row Dance

The film tells the story of a love story between the white male protagonist Hank (played by Billy Bob Tunton) and the black woman Lesia (played by Halle Berry) entangled in death and racial discrimination in a small southern town in the United States where racial prejudice is deeply rooted. Hank grew up in an extremely racist conservative white family and was deeply influenced by his father. After his father retired, Hank took over execution duties. After just executing a black death row inmate, Hank unexpectedly meets his wife Lesia. Soon, the two fell in love. But in an environment with conservative and rigid racial concepts, will this incredible intersection of fate be as touching as a dance, or will it be difficult? The film's heroine, Halle Berry, won the 74th Academy Awards (2002) for Best Actress.
