Mother, the limits of love

The fragile and sensitive handsome young man Pierre (Louis Garrel) finally returned to his parents after many years. He showed excessive attachment to his parents, especially his mother Helen (Isabelle Huppert), and even secretly prayed for the death of his father (Philippe Duclos). Helen hopes that Pierre can grow into a real man. She shows her dissolute side in front of her son again and again.
