Punishment

A Miao (played by Junko Miyashita), the waitress of Tamanoya in the tavern, is a beautiful and gentle girl. One night, she met a man who could change her life-Ito Haruyu (played by Hatsuko Tani). Ito is a sensory folklorist who has conducted in-depth research on the various criminal laws of ancient times. He once asked his wives to reenact these punishments in person and take photos of them. A Miao was attracted by Ito's paradoxical world and has been immersed in it ever since. This seemingly weak woman has incredible endurance. In order to surpass Ito's ex-wife, she can endure all kinds of torture. Ito seemed to have found a true soulmate, but this harmony did not last long, and A Miao kept showing strange behaviors. She was diagnosed with congenital paralysis, in other words syphilis. It turns out that her mother (played by Minami Jumeiko) once worked as a prostitute.
