The Moon-Spinners is a Disney movie released in American theaters in 1964. It is a work full of romance and adventure. A British girl named Nikky Ferris and her Aunt Frances came to the island for vacation, but were accidentally involved in a jewelry theft. The owner of the hotel where they live has some disputes with her brother, who is a jewel thief named Stratos. Nikky accidentally saves Mark, a young British man, and becomes estranged from the thief Stratos. Then they start a series of chases, from windmills to cellars, and then to yacht chases on the Aegean Sea. They face these exciting adventures together. The film was shot on location along the Aegean Sea, and the film presents a touching Southern European seaside style. The filming alone is quite watchable.
