Instant Universe

In an ordinary Asian community in the United States, Evelyn (Michelle Yeoh) lives with a family of four. He is over fifty years old, and he and his timid and incompetent husband Weimond (played by Guan Jiwei) work hard to run a small laundry. Her father (played by Wu Hanzhang) has limited mobility and needs care; her daughter Joy (played by Xu Weilun) is maverick, rebellious and violent. There is no hope in life, only perfunctory and suffering. One day, when Evelin went to the tax bureau to file her taxes, Wilmond suddenly behaved abnormally. He told his wife that he came from another universe and needed Evelin to unite her in various universes to defeat the coming evil forces. Evelin didn't believe it at first, but soon she established contact with herself in other universes. When darkness strikes, this ordinary woman has to become the savior of the universe...
