In the early 1990s, the orphan Jane Eyre (played by Liu Tao) moved to Guangzhou to work. She worked as a restaurant worker and a tea girl in a foreign trade company. With her intelligence, kindness and daring fighting spirit, she grew into an outstanding foreign trade merchandiser and business manager. But Jane Eyre was not satisfied with the identity leap she had achieved. After many twists and turns, she established her own foreign trade company. After experiencing the 1998 Southeast Asian financial turmoil and the 2008 financial crisis, relying on the achievements of reform and opening up in mainland China and the booming foreign trade trend in China, she returned to her hometown to start a business, create a national brand, and eventually grew into the CEO of a multinational group. On the way of growing up, Jane Eyre was also confused. In the end, she achieved career success through her own efforts. While finding the value of their own lives, the relationship between Jane Eyre and Fang Hengzhi (played by Lin Feng) also experienced ups and downs, from the initial strong man to the weak woman to an evenly matched couple, and became the ultimate life partners.
