Forever Comrades

"Looking for Deng Yingchao" presents a revolutionary who has fought for communism all her life, an intellectual woman who takes charge of her work, a loving mother who treats all the children in the world as her own, and a good wife who pursues her dreams and shares the joys and sorrows with her husband. On the revolutionary road, Zhou Enlai fought against the enemy at the front, while Deng Yingchao did propaganda work, women's work, and rescued refugees and children at the rear. They often passed by each other at dangerous moments. Their common belief supported them to continue to move forward side by side on the road of revolution despite all difficulties and obstacles. Deng Yingchao was not alone. He was accompanied by a group of outstanding female revolutionaries such as Soong Ching Ling, Cao Mengjun, and Chen Tiejun. They all had the heart to care about the motherland and dedicate themselves to the people. Deng Yingchao's mother, Yang Zhende, stayed by her side despite hardships and dangers. She was arrested and imprisoned several times, silently contributing to the revolution and her daughter selflessly. They are women we should celebrate and honor today. Deng Yingchao's footprints traveled all over the motherland throughout her life. Now that she is gone, we must look for her excellent qualities of dedicating everything to the motherland and her lifelong revolutionary belief in fighting for communism.
