Where Peach Blossoms Bloom

The play tells the story of Huang Shaohua, a retired female soldier of the People's Liberation Army and a member of the Communist Party, and the twists and turns of her life. The emotional entanglement between Huang Shaohua, Wei Shougen, and Tian Shantang is the narrative clue. It is set against the background of the Liberation War, the War of Resistance against U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and reform and opening up. It reflects the historical changes in China's rural areas and the story of a group of farmers who have gone through joys and sorrows and moved toward a happy new life.
