The story tells the story of Guo Deyou / a water policeman from the Tianjin Weiwu River Corpse Retrieving Team / and his junior brother Ding Mao / who were encouraged by the meat-and-wine monk Li Daleng to investigate the corpse case at the mouth of the Sancha River. They experienced the ghost tower in Weijiafeng / the guidance of the Yin Yang River Fairy / and the hunt for monsters in the Evil Dog Village / and finally caught the real culprit behind the scenes.
