The lively and innocent Australian girl Sandy Ocean (played by Olivia Newton-John) met Danny Zucker (played by John Travolta), the boss of the school's "tough guy gang" when she traveled to the United States during the summer vacation. Sandy, who fell in love with Danny at first sight, reluctantly kissed Danny goodbye and headed home. A green and sweet first love ended like this with the hot summer. However, things took a turn for the worse when Sandy's parents decided to immigrate to the United States. What made Sandy even more excited was that she found that she was actually studying in the same school as Danny. In order to pursue Danny, Sandy, who was originally dignified and steady, became fashionable and trendy, and deliberately dated the handsome and famous athletes in the school. However, things did not go as Sandy expected.
