The Call of the Wild 2009

Ryan (played by Ariel Gade)'s parents need to go abroad for work reasons, so they send young Ryan to his grandfather (Christopher Lloyd) who lives in the mountains of Montana. Ryan is not used to life in the mountains and misses his parents far away, so he often seems depressed. One day, an injured wild dog appeared on the porch of his grandfather's house. Ryan took the wild dog in and took good care of its injury. The arrival of the wild dog eased Ryan's longing for his relatives, and soon, trust and friendship were established between one person and one dog. Ryan wanted to take the wild dog back to his home in Boston and raise it as a pet dog, but his grandfather knew that the freedom-loving nature of wild animals would never be eradicated. In order to let Ryan understand this truth, his grandfather decided to read the book "The Call of the Wild" to Ryan.
