Lillian (Isabelle Huppert Isabelle Huppert On the surface, she is just an ordinary female factory worker, living a nine-to-five life every day. She returns home immediately after get off work, without any entertainment or social interaction. In fact, Lillian hid her true identity and past. She was once famous as Laura and was a famous singer in the entertainment industry. However, a failed love affair put her in a desperate situation, and she chose to retire and never care about the world again. In the factory, Lillian met a man named Jean (played by Kévin Azaïs), who dreamed of becoming a professional boxer and worked tirelessly to do so. Jean's father was once a die-hard fan of Laura, and after learning of Lillian's true identity, Jean invited Lillian to sing at his family dinner. Unexpectedly, Lillian's identity was exposed, and the relationship between her and Jean became increasingly ambiguous.
