Cherry Blossoms in Bloom

Rudy (Elmar Wepper Elmar Wepper) and Dolly (Hannelore Elsner) Du Li (played by Du Li) is an old couple who enjoy each other, but bad news suddenly comes. Du Li learns that Rudy has cancer and there is no hope of treatment, so she secretly conceals the truth and persuades him to return to Berlin together to fulfill his long-standing wish. When the two old people arrived in Berlin, they found that their children already had busy lives of their own and had no time to take care of them, so they planned to go to the Baltic Sea for vacation. Unexpectedly, the day after they arrived at their destination and checked into a hotel, Du Li died in her sleep. The sad Rudy decided to fulfill his wife's unfulfilled wish alone. He came to Tokyo and saw the cherry blossoms in bloom and Mount Fuji that Du Li had always longed for. He also met a young traditional dancer Yu (played by Iruzuki Aya), who led him to find Du Li's former Japanese dance dream...
