Female Killer Hell

Adapted from the original work of Chikamatsu Monzaemon. Aji (played by Higuchi Konanko), the hostess of Toshimaya, an Osaka oil shop, used to work in another oil shop, Kawachiya, and served as the wet nurse for Yohei (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi), the second son of the oil shop owner. His father died when Yobei was 4 years old, and Tokubei (Hisashi Igawa) became his stepfather. The unruly Yobei has been idle since he was a child, and even had an affair with Xiaoju (played by Miwako Fujitani), the daughter of the owner of Ogura House. For fear that Oguraya would withdraw funds, Tokubei criticized Yobei and ordered them to break up. Yobei actually ran away with Xiaoju Yuye. Although the two finally came back, Xiaoju was faced with the decision to marry someone else. Youbei intends to kidnap the bride, but is stopped by Aji at the critical moment. Aji's move inadvertently changed the fate of the two of them...
