Romantic Wrongful Ghost

This film is co-directed by Zhao Zhenqiang and Li Taiheng. The story describes that during the Second World War, when popular singer Ahua (Kong Meibao) was on the run, she was raped and murdered by a wealthy rural family, Mr. Tao, and her jewelry and money were robbed of her. Since then, Tao's house has been haunted. Mr. Tao also died mysteriously soon after, and his family moved elsewhere, leaving Tao's house abandoned. Many years later, Tao Ming (Gu Guanzhong), the descendant of Mr. Tao, was addicted to gambling and owed a huge sum of money because of the ghost of Ah Hua. Ming's wife secretly sold the old Tao house to Professor Yang and his wife (Liu Yong and Qian Huiyi). After Yang moved in, he encountered a series of strange things, and Yang had to believe in the theory of ghosts and gods that had no scientific basis...
