The film tells the story of Hui Yulan who thought she would be successful after being elected to the palace. However, due to her poor family and no money, she sought help from the eunuchs and was bullied by other favored nobles. Fortunately, her favorite man, Prince Gong, woke her up and realized that life in the palace was as fierce as a battlefield, so she decided to use various methods to fight for power.
