The Thread

Terry (played by John Travolta) is a film sound recordist who specializes in recording sound effects for low-cost horror films. During a job, Terry found that he had recorded the sound of a car falling into the water by mistake. Shocked, Terry arrived at the scene of the accident. While salvaging the vehicle, Terry was surprised to find that a woman named Sally (Nancy Allen) in the car was miraculously still alive. After waking up, Sally told Terry that the entire car accident was not as simple as it seemed, and there was a shocking political conspiracy hidden in it. Suddenly, Terry found himself involved in a very dangerous incident. The pursuit from a mysterious figure made him even more determined to track it down. He knows that the truth is always hidden behind the huge power, and that his life is in danger at any time. In such a turbulent environment, the only one who can trust is himself.
