Painter's Village

The famous painter Ding Yifan (played by the famous Hong Kong actor Wu Qihua) who returned from studying abroad resigned from the Academy of Fine Arts. He and his talented female student Ai Yu (played by the popular mainland actress Wang Yajie) came to the painter's village to start a new life. At the same time, he and the female sculptor Annuo (played by the powerful actor Liu Lei) eventually came to the opposite side of each other after a paradoxical love. Gao Chuan (played by powerful actor Jing Minghua), who gave up painting and went into business, teamed up with real estate developers and artists living in the painter's village to have a series of conflicts around survival and creation.
