At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the ancient land of China was full of joy, but behind the joy there was still an icy undercurrent. In Yuzhou, Sichuan Province, the bandit leader Bai Jingzhai, who once dominated for a while, was executed by the people's government, and rumors that the old mansion where he once lived was haunted became more and more ominous. Long Fei, an eleven young man from Beijing, works as a clerk in the local archives in Yuzhou, and the dormitory of the archives is the requisitioned old house of Zibai Jingzhai. Since everyone is afraid of ghosts, Long Fei had to live in the dormitory alone, but encountered many strange and supernatural incidents one after another. Soon, a murder occurred in the archives, and criminal police captain Xiao Ke entered the archives to investigate. In the process, Xiao Ke and Long Fei not only sensed something strange about themselves, but also accidentally learned the secrets of a spy organization called the "Plum Blossom Party"...
