Tongtian Di Renjie

During the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty, Yan Liben came across Di Renjie (played by Ren Jialun) who was wrongly imprisoned. After helping him save himself, he discovered that he was a genius in solving cases. When the emperor sent him to Ganye Temple to investigate the case, he decided to take Di Renjie with him. At Ganye Temple, Di Renjie solved a strange case, resolved a Buddhist catastrophe, and became acquainted with Wu Meiniang. Di Renjie became famous and was sent to Bingzhou by the emperor. During this period, he repeatedly solved strange cases and was called the divine judge. There was a murder incident by the ghost soldiers of the previous dynasty. Di Renjie went to check and found that it was related to the treasure of the previous dynasty and the intention of Pu Wang Li Tai to rebel. However, the evidence was destroyed and he could not continue. At this time, Wu Meiniang killed her own daughter and framed the king and queen. The emperor summoned Di Renjie back to Chang'an to investigate. Based on the clues provided by Wu Meiniang, Di Renjie cracked the case and found the treasure of the previous dynasty in Li Tai's residence, which became conclusive evidence of King Pu's rebellion. Di Renjie also knew that Wu Meiniang was the one who solved his problems every time he encountered bottlenecks in solving cases. He felt that Wu Meiniang was unfathomable and her ambition was beyond his imagination. Sure enough, not long after, Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty suffered from wind disease and asked Wu Meiniang to go to court together, and they were collectively called the Two Saints.
