The whole play starts with the disputes between Sun Tzu's family and other families and Sun Tzu's love life. It sequentially describes Sun Tzu's joining the army as a young man / intensive reading of military books / resisting marriage and abandoning love / choosing a wife together / avoiding chaos and leaving Qi / being captured and escaping / running to Chu to cause trouble / running away from Jin to take a concubine / Zhibao BingShu / and running to Wu Yin. He lived there / studied the art of war / recommended by Zixu / presented books to his wife / killed beautiful generals / led troops to attack Chu / lost his concubine and lost his son / made great achievements / and sadly returned to seclusion. It tells the story of Sun Tzu's glorious journey from an ordinary soldier with great ambitions and beautiful ideals to a general of the Wu Kingdom who conquered thousands of miles.
