Meizhou Island Romance

It tells the story of Lin Zhixiong, a Taiwanese laborer who was abducted by the Japanese army and worked as a coolie in Hainan in 1946, at a dock in Hainan, and his pregnant wife Ah Qing finally boarded the Taiwan ship "Anxiang" to return home. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the "Anxiang" lost power on its way back home. God abandoned this old ship full of workers. Misfortunes never come singly, the house leaks and it rains continuously, and Ah Qing is about to give birth. Ah Qing finally gave birth to lovely twins Lin Hai'an and Lin Haixiang. The separation was imminent, and Lin Zhixiong and his wife left their biological son Lin Haixiang on Meizhou Island. With a love that was hard to let go, he left Meizhou and returned to Taiwan. From then on, for decades, we looked across the sea and missed each other. More than fifty years later, when a group of Taiwanese Mazu believers went to the Mazu Temple on Meizhou Island to perform incense and take photos, Lin Yongji (son of Lin Hai'an), who was looking for relatives, fell into the water and was rescued by a girl from Meizhou, Yang Xiumei. In the days when time flew by, Yongji Xiumei and the others fell in love silently. God's fate plays tricks on people. Yongji's mother accidentally discovered that Xiumei was Yongji's cousin. For fear of future tragedies, she categorically prevented the children from continuing to interact with each other. Xiu Mei is in agony, and Yong Ji is cold-hearted. "There is no way out of mountains and rivers, but there is another village with dark willows and bright flowers."
