Wealth is in the Sky

The masterpiece of the era "Wealth is in the Sky" tells an emotional story that happened in a wealthy businessman family in 1914. Zhuo Manjun, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, and his servant Zhu Degang finally obtained family permission to get married, but they were separated when Zhu Degang disappeared in a shipwreck. In order to find his son-in-law, Zhuo's father went down to the south of the Yangtze River, but unexpectedly died in the hands of the evil servant Fugui. Zhuo Manjun lost everything. Fugui wanted to take the opportunity to replace Zhu Degang and seize the Zhuo family's property. Zhuo Manjun saw through Fugui, and with the help of his righteous servant Gao Dahai, he took his children through the difficulties. Later, having no choice, she married Gao Dahai. Seven years later, by chance, Zhuo Manjun and Zhu Degang suddenly met. Zhu Degang still sticks to his original promise, but Zhuo Manjun has to face the dilemma of his ex-husband being affectionate and his subsequent husband being righteous... This is another masterpiece of the famous Taiwanese screenwriter Deng Yuejiao after the Republic of China drama "Jackie Chan" hit the Shanghai screen - the 38-episode TV series "Wealth in the Sky". The play was directed by the famous director Lai Shui-ching. Hong Kong actor Ye Tong played the second female lead in the play. Despite this, her performance in the play was a breakthrough, and she staged a good drama of one woman marrying two husbands.
