Mazu

"Mazu" is a mythological and inspirational drama that reflects the life and deeds of Mazu. It uses more than 30 widely circulated folklores of Mazu as material, and strives to restore the image of a respectable, amiable and lovely sage Mazu, display the extensive and profound Mazu culture, and spread the oriental ocean culture represented by Mazu culture. Different from some previous mythological dramas where entertainment is more important than social education, "Mazu" will reflect the long history of Mazu culture and the rich connotation of moral integrity, good deeds and universal love from the vivid and twists and turns of Mazu's life. In addition, unlike previous mythological dramas "Innate Magic Power", Lin Mo in "Mazu" is a mortal body, and his journey to becoming an immortal is a struggle from the bottom up. More than 30 folk legends, including Guanyin's delivery of a child, her pregnancy, and her finding a talisman at a well, will be interspersed in the play to witness Mazu's journey of moving God and becoming an immortal.
