Destroy

The play is based on real historical events. It reflects that on the eve of the liberation of Wudu, the Kuomintang was preparing to blow up the arsenal and important infrastructure in Wudu before evacuating the mainland. It also showed the desperate struggle and peak showdown between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. The play depicts the ups and downs of the three major families in the turbulent autumn and the unique emotional encounters and fates between Fang Mengkai, Luo Dan and Dong Haimei. It interprets the noble spirit of patriotism of the protagonists in the play who face powerful enemies and their evil conspiracies, share the same hatred, fight to the death, die generously, and shed blood without hesitation.
