The Story of Longmen Village

Longmen Village, which has a prosperous economy and simple folk customs, lost by one vote in the province's "Most Traditional Cultural Village" competition. In order to win the next competition, a group of farmers who knew nothing about opera tried their best to show off eighteen kinds of martial arts, including Peking Opera, Shaoxing Opera, Huangmei Opera, and Henan Opera. Many jokes were made during the singing process, but the villagers discovered the fun and also appreciated the spiritual enjoyment brought by Chinese traditional culture. Longmen Village got its wish in the second year and won the victory. Amidst the sound of firecrackers, everyone met and continued to work hard for the future cultural development of Longmen Village.
