The story takes place in the late Ming Dynasty. General Qi Jiguang and Minister of War Qi Jiyu teamed up to form the Qi Family Army to attack Japanese pirates who dared to invade the country. The pirate leader Oshima Masao and the imperial eunuch Tong Dabao (played by Yu Chenghui) colluded internally and externally to frame Qi Jiyu, which led to the disbandment of the Qi family army and the Qi family being massacred.
