The First Shot

This is a patriotic war epic adapted from a true historical story of the Northeast Anti-Resistance League. It is directed by Huang Wenli, a new-school war drama director who has created outstanding dramas such as "Wolfbane Flower" and "Iron Walnut". It has a strong starring cast such as Zhu Yongteng, Wang Xinjun, Zhang Ying, Tian Ye, Bai Haitao, and Zhang Hui. After the September 18th Incident in 1931, the Communist Party of China organized anti-Japanese armed forces in Northeast China. The Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance fired the "first shot" of our party's resistance to Japanese aggression, and thus launched the fourteen-year-long Anti-Japanese War. This TV series tells a generous and tragic legend during these fourteen years of arduous battle. In the play, General Yang Zhenshan, a famous general of the Anti-Japanese Alliance, was betrayed by a traitor and unfortunately died. In order to undermine the morale of the Anti-Japanese Alliance, the Japanese invaders brutally cut off the general's head. The anti-alliance fighters headed by Yang Baozhong launched a thrilling "capture" operation. In the battles against the Japanese aggressors, countless ordinary people in the Northeast were mobilized and fought bravely, forming a magnificent anti-Japanese torrent. The action of "capturing the head" throughout the story is intense and suspenseful, making the audience always worried about the protagonist, and at the same time, their blood will boil for the heroic feats and feelings of family and country of the characters in the play.
