Hunting the Jackal

On May 27, 1949, Pujiang City, a charming city with prosperous economy and a mixture of good and bad, ushered in liberation. Under the call and leadership of the new Pujiang Municipal Government, the people of the whole city have devoted themselves to the construction of New China, and the social situation has taken on a completely new look. However, the Kuomintang reactionaries were unwilling to fail and perish. The Kuomintang Secrecy Bureau launched Operation Jackal, ordering agents codenamed Jackal and Wolf to secretly sneak into the Pujiang River, secretly destroy social order, and wait for opportunities to launch conspiracy activities against the new regime. Guo Jianliang, deputy director of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Pujiang Public Security Bureau under the control of the East China Military Commission, was ordered to take the place of the arrested spy and break into the enemy camp to investigate the mastermind and action plan behind the Jackal Plan. The staff of our party headed by Guo Jianliang worked tirelessly to deal with the enemy agents, and finally succeeded in hunting jackals and wolves, stopped the jackal plan, defended the victory results of the three major battles of the People's Liberation Army, and made outstanding contributions to the birth of the People's Republic of China.
