Jin Daban

In 1948 in Shanghai, Jin Zhaoli (played by Fan Bingbing), the top dancer of the "Parlem" dance hall, became a smash hit. This peerless beauty attracted the enthusiastic pursuit of countless people. But she emerges from the mud untainted, is open-minded and strong, and is determined to control her destiny. But fate gave her a bizarre life story. She was supposed to be born into a wealthy family, but she exchanged a life destiny that did not belong to her with another girl. Her brother Jin Zhaoliang (played by Huang Shaoqi) always protects this sister who is not related to her by blood. Sheng Yueru (played by Zhou Yimin), a young man from a wealthy family who returned from studying abroad, started an innocent and beautiful relationship with her. However, the cruel reality shattered this beautiful love of life and death. She has had many emotional ups and downs throughout her life, and the only one who admires her all her life is businessman Guo Shihong (played by Fang Zhongxin), who has been waiting for her silently and infatuatedly for decades, and followed her from the "Paramount" in Shanghai to the "Night Paris" in Taipei. In Shanghai in 2009, at the "Exhibition of Works by Internationally Famous Photographer Sheng Yueru", the gray-haired Jin Zhaoli recalled the story of that year in front of a black and white work. The TV series "Jin Da Ban" jointly produced by Beijing Tangde International Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Fuzhou Xin'an Film and Television Animation Co., Ltd. is adapted from the short story "The Last Night of Jin Da Ban" by writer Bai Xianyong.
