"Green Field" revolves around the village director Juanzi, played by He Dandan, telling the story of her leading Shanwan Village out of poverty and becoming rich. It also intersperses the joys and sorrows of Juanzi's family life. As the well-deserved female lead in the play, He Dandan felt that it was very difficult to create the character's image. Because Juanzi is a stoic, kind and tolerant female image, she has the unique bearing of a female cadre. Previously, many of the roles played by He Dandan were urban white-collar beauties, allowing the audience to see her noble and elegant side.
