At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, all the heroes rose up and the world was in chaos. Wudang held a prayer ceremony for the 100th birthday of Qiu Chuji, a real person in Changchun. Zhu Yuanzhang, a monk from Huangjue Temple, Ma Zhilan, the adopted daughter of rebel leader Guo Zixing, and Shen Rong, a wealthy girl, came to Wudang and became friends with Zhang Junbao, a lay disciple of Qiu Chuji. After working hard in the desert for many years, Chi Bilie brought Huo Lang and Snow Eagle to Wudang to challenge Qiu. Qiu was seriously injured, his life or death was uncertain, and Jun Bao was captured. Zhu Yuanzhang joined the army of Guo Zixing, but was killed by a traitor. Lun became a beggar and wanted to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. Fortunately, he was rescued by Jun Bao who escaped and regained his confidence. Shen Rong, who fell in love with Zhu, came to see Zhu because she was pregnant, but found out that Zhu had married Ma Zhilan for military power, had fetal motility, and died of dystocia. Jun Bao was filled with grief and anger. Chi Bilie learned that Qiu Chuji was not dead, so he came to Wudang Mountain for a decisive battle again, and both sides suffered losses. Before Qiu died, he left the secret of eight characters to Jun Bao. Junbao understood the secret, created Tai Chi, and changed his name to Zhang Sanfeng. After Zhu became emperor, he went on a killing spree, even Sanfeng was not spared. Sanfeng angrily killed eighteen dragon riders and rushed straight to the imperial court to kill Zhu. Empress Ma came to plead for mercy. Sanfeng had no choice but to let Zhu go, and retired to Wudang, regardless of the world.
