Peace Mission

In the spring of 2005, it was a critical moment for the Chinese and Russian militaries to hold the first international military exercise to select participating troops. The Iron Army Division, the ace unit of the G Theater, was undergoing a test exercise with actual troops in Yingshan. The Iron Army Division's defeat at Yingshan during the exercise exposed eight major problems. The new division commander Long Hansheng led all the officers and soldiers of the Iron Army Division to face reality, overcome numerous difficulties, actively respond to modern wars, think about future wars, intensify training, and quickly transform from mechanized combat to information-based combat forces, and finally won the glorious mission of the 2005 Sino-Russian joint military exercise. For this exercise, the whole army went all out, the local governments in the exercise area cooperated fully, and the local people did not hesitate to sacrifice their own interests, and finally the obstacle clearance was successfully completed. In the end, the navy, land and air forces of China and Russia successfully completed the exercise mission under harsh weather conditions, expressing the Chinese people's best wishes for peace and demonstrating to the people of the world our ability and belief in defending peace.
