Famous Prime Minister Chen Tingjing

In the 23rd year of Kangxi's reign, Chen Tingjing was ordered by Kangxi to deal with the Shuntian Township Examination Center fraud case, and was therefore involved in the party struggle between the Pearl Party and the Suo'etu Party. Chen Tingjing responded calmly, not only avoiding the co-optation of various parties, but also properly handling the fraud case, digging out the Suo'etu forces behind it, and overthrowing the Suo'etu party, which was deeply appreciated by Kangxi. Kangxi appointed Chen Tingjing to reform the bad government. Chen Tingjing vigorously eliminated the unhealthy tendencies of malfeasance and fraud within the imperial court, reformed the copper coin system, and clarified the corruption case of Wang Jiwen, the leader of the Mingzhu Party. The Mingzhu Party launched a crazy counterattack. They used the corruption case of Chen Tingjing's relative, Huguang Governor Zhang Qian, to attack Chen Tingjing, which led to Chen Tingjing's dismissal from office. However, Chen Tingjing took steps back to make progress, and finally found out the evidence of Mingzhu's crime of buying and selling official positions and making friends with cronies, and dismissed Mingzhu for the crime of forming cliques for personal gain, being greedy for money and accepting bribes. After that, Kangxi once again appointed Chen Tingjing as the censor of Zuodu. Chen Tingjing impeached hundreds of officials and punished corrupt officials, and left a lasting legacy as "Chen Ge Lao".
