In the 1950s, the overall situation of the world has been decided. However, in remote places such as the southwest border, the remnants of the Kuomintang and well-established bandit bullies are still making their last desperate resistance. The terrain and situation in western Hubei are very complex, and there are many hostile forces that are difficult to deal with. Guan Yongbo (played by Huang Haibo), who came from a rough life, was rescued from a bandit den by Luo Dacheng (played by Li Xuejian), deputy political commissar of Lichuan County Party Committee.
