The Woman Tree

The young girl Qiao Xiaoyan ran away from home for fun and was knocked unconscious by a frightened and speeding carriage. The young carpenter Liu Deyuan rescued her, and the two developed feelings during the contact. Feng Laifu has always been secretly in love with Xiaoyan, but was rejected by Xiaoyan's family. Xiaoyan married Deyuan, which made Laifu jealous and resentful. After liberation, Deyuan and Xiaoyan became workers. Laifu, who became the director of the subdistrict office, still missed Xiaoyan.
