The Jade King

Tang Yuren, a member of a "stone gambling family" in Tengchong, beat Feng Zhongcai, another jadeite family, at the palm of his hand; the two of them battled wits and courage on the way to Myanmar to search for jade. Feng Zhongcai's daughter Feng Juan fell in love with Tang Yuren; the appearance of Sun Dongyan, a famous Xiangyu master, gave Feng Zhongcai a chance to win. Soon, the Japanese army was about to occupy Tengchong. Tang Yuren generously funded the Chinese expeditionary force to go to Burma to fight the Japanese army. However, Tengchong was eventually occupied by the Japanese army with an empty city. The Japanese army began to plunder jade frantically in Tengchong, and used various cruel methods to force Tang Yuren to hand over the jade king to carve the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Map" and dedicated it to the Japanese Emperor. Tang Yuren dealt with the enemy with superhuman wisdom and courage.
