Ningxiang Tribulation

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Tang Dynasty became rich by producing "Ningxiang". The Tang Dynasty had few heirs and only one child. Tang Shaoqing married Xu Zhilan and had only one daughter. Zhilan was overbearing by nature, and Shaoqing and her relationship became increasingly distant. Shaoqing fell in love with Han Yan, a brothel girl, and had a son with her. Tang's mother, taking into account the dignity of the Tang family, did not allow Han Yan's mother and son to enter. Tang's mother took in a concubine for him. The story mainly tells the bitter journey of how the concubine, played by Liu Yuxin, gained a foothold in the Tang family.
