Bai Yu, a freshman in the Department of Cultural Industry Management of Nanzhou Jiaotong University, mistakenly entered the selection site of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Arts, and accidentally joined the Debate Club of the Faculty of Arts, which had been dormant for many years, with Yi Xiaoxi, Sun Qing, and others. Geng Tingting, a senior who dreams of winning the national college debate championship, sees her last hope in this team. However, Teacher Tang, the league committee member, suddenly wanted to take back the training room of the debate club. In order to keep the training room, Tingting signed a life and death certificate: the team must advance to the school finals. At the end of the freshman year, the team members bid farewell to Geng Tingting who graduated. The debate accompanied their growth this year and allowed them to begin to understand the true value and significance of university.
