They supported the front line, saved the people, and fought against corrupt bureaucrats who were making great fortunes for the country. Love, hate, life and death, tears and blood forge a great personality. The whole play is full of ups and downs and has vivid characters, depicting an intriguing historical picture of the rear area of ​​the Anti-Japanese War. When Wuhan fell in 1938, Yang Guanyu was appointed by the Nationalist Government and took his assistant Xie Lin to Yucheng in the rear area to prepare for the construction of a hospital for wounded soldiers. Unexpectedly, Xiang Hongnian, a famous doctor in Yucheng, was assassinated at home. The money disappeared... Anti-Japanese hero Deputy County Magistrate Du Songshan began to investigate the case. The upright Du Songshan and Yang kept arguing, but Yang discovered residual shrapnel in the cervical spine and urgently needed surgery... Du became Yang's first patient after arriving in Yucheng.
