In the early years of the Republic of China, Yingcheng's national treasure bronze lion was stolen. Patrol officers Liu Chun and Li Lang were ordered to arrest the cultural relics dealer Meng Fanping. During the arrest, the cultural relics dealer escaped under the cover of internal personnel of the police station. Liu Chun and Li Lang were unjustly expelled from the police force. They were wronged and decided to return to Yingcheng to arrest the cultural relic dealer Meng Fanping. In order to successfully trade the national treasure, Meng Fanping changed his name and sneaked back to Yingcheng, and a story of pursuit and counter-escape began. After many twists and turns, Liu Chun and Li Lang discovered through clues that Master Zhang, the pancake seller, was Meng Fanping. The two began to arrest him, but Meng Fanping and his gang escaped again. Li Lang started to arrest Meng Fanping alone. After many twists and turns, he finally captured Meng Fanping, dug out the police chief and his gang, and gave society innocence and justice.
