Ring Domination Season 1

Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky is a regional wrestling gym whose alumni include Brock Lesnar, The Miz, John Cena, Dave Bautista and Randy Orton. The gym, once a proud finishing school for aspiring professional wrestlers, fell into trouble. Acclaimed wrestler Al Snow adheres to an old-school wrestling philosophy that emphasizes storytelling, but despite some die-hard fan love, the gym struggles to make enough of a splash each week to keep its doors open. The financial situation became so dire that Al had to sell a majority of his shares to a group of local businessmen, including Kentucky's most popular radio personality, Matt Jones. Matt and the new ownership group gave the struggling gym a much-needed cash injection, but it was still operating at a staggering loss. The new owners gave Al a summer to turn things around. The Wrestlers follows Al and his group of aspiring wrestlers as they struggle to fulfill their personal ambitions and each other while trying to save the historic gym.
