Silver Mist

As a child, a fire left a deep mark on Franky's body and mind. For 15 years, she has been working hard to find evidence to bring the criminal to justice, while waiting for opportunities to retaliate. She worked as a nurse in the hospital that saved her life, where she met Florence, a woman with a strong personality, and fell in love with her. Faced with his overbearing family, Franky chooses to flee the working-class town of Dagenham and seek refuge with Florence and her stepfamily. However, she did not get rid of the entanglements of the past. Soon after, cracks began to appear in her relationship with Florence. "Silver Mist" is the second collaboration between director Sacha Polak and non-professional actor Vicky Knight. The story is based on the director's improvisational inspiration and Vicky Knight's true memories. The camera keenly captures the most authentic and original images, but also full of tenderness and poetry.
