The correct use of dogs and scissors

High school student Harumi Kazuto (Sakurai Takahiro) ) is an incurable reading addict. In order to read newly published books as soon as possible, he worked hard to get into a prestigious school in Tokyo and lived alone here, with books as his companions all day long. In his collection, Harumi particularly favored the varied works of the mysterious writer Akiyama Shinobu. One day, Chunhai was suddenly attacked by gangsters in the coffee shop where he was working. He was brutally murdered by the gangsters in order to protect a young girl behind him who was only busy writing. Harumi, who is heading to another world, hopes to read the last novel of Shinobu Akiyama's "Sin Series" no matter what. With this obsession, he returned to the world, only to find himself leaning over a long-haired dachshund. Not long after, the dog Chunhai met the strange girl Natsuye Kirihime (voiced by Marina Inoue) who could understand his voice, and her other identity was Shinobu Akiyama. A reading addict meets a writing enthusiast, and an interesting story begins... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Shunsuke Sarai (original work) and Nabeshima Tatsuro (illustrator).
